Faith No More kehrt 2021 auf die Bühne zurück. Zuletzt spielten sie 2015 in Europa, nachdem sie ihr Comeback-Album „Sol Invictus“ veröffentlicht haben. Das Album debütierte an der Spitze der internationalen Verkaufscharts: Platz 2 in Australien, Platz 4 in Deutschland und Platz 6 sowohl in den USA als auch in Grossbritannien. Der Rolling Stone nannte das Album „triumphant“, der The New Yorker „a reminder of everything that made Faith No More great in the first place“ und die Los Angeles Times sagte: „Faith No More has a history of defying expectations, and that’s what it’s doing again with Sol Invictus“. Das Werk klingt selbstbewusst, euphorisch und ein bisschen nostalgisch und beweist einmal mehr Mike Pattons kreatives Talent welches er bis zum äussersten ausschöpft.

Die in San Francisco geborene, Platin verkaufende Band hat sieben Studioalben veröffentlicht: We Care A Lot (1985), Introduce Yourself (1987), The Real Thing (1989), Angel Dust (1992), King For A Day... Fool For A Lifetime (1995), Album of the Year (1997) und Sol Invictus (2015).
